  Quotes: one tool for transfers and custom itineraries

  Quotes and Custom tours are now one tool: a simple transfer or a day with stops and waits, website price or formula, vehicle options, a link that never changes. Everything migrated.

  We had two similar tools, Quotes and Custom tours. They are one now, under Bookings > Quotes, and every quote and proposal you had already created is there with the same number and the same link.

  • Every request shape: a transfer with pickup, drop-off, date and optional return, or a day with several stops, waits and hourly service. Add stops and the page adapts.
  • Calculate price and distance: for a transfer it suggests exactly your website's price per vehicle class; for a custom itinerary your formula on the whole day. Use fills an option and every figure stays yours.
  • Options, extras, discount: several vehicles the customer picks from, waiting at your hourly rate, night, tolls, luggage, one discount by amount or percent, VAT and deposit, conditions under the price.
  • The link never changes: edit the quote after sending and the customer sees the new version at the same address. Email with PDF, ready WhatsApp message, customer registry with company name.
  • Online acceptance: a transfer becomes the exact website booking, a custom day a job with the itinerary in the notes; you both get an email.

  Address boxes on PC are full width now and the time is typed by hand (09:30).

  Contact requests: see whether the customer's email is valid

  Contact Requests now shows whether the customer's email address really exists: a badge next to the subject (Valid email, may be wrong, invalid), with the explanation on hover.

  When a customer fills in the contact form, the site immediately sends them a confirmation email. From today Contact Requests tells you what their mailbox did with it.

  • Valid email (green): the mailbox accepted it, the address exists.
  • Email may be wrong (amber): no answer after 5 minutes; mailboxes normally answer within seconds.
  • Invalid email (red): the email was refused or stayed unanswered for 24 hours. Better reach the customer by phone or WhatsApp.

  The badge appears in the list and in the request detail; hover over it for the explanation. The result is stored, so it stays for older requests too.

  Secondary and partner zones in the service area

  In Price Formula > Service area every zone now has a role: main, secondary (bookable only towards chosen zones or on long trips) or partner. For operators with a satellite territory.

  Not every zone you serve carries the same weight. A Turin operator may also cover the Langhe, but only towards Milan and its airports or on long trips, not for an Alba > Cervinia run.

  In Price Formula > Service area every zone now has a role:

  • Main: being inside is enough, as always.
  • Secondary: counts only when the other end of the trip is in a main zone, in one of the partner zones you pick, or when the trip is longer than the km you set.
  • Partner: not covered ground, it only says where a secondary zone may be booked to (for example Milan, Malpensa, Orio al Serio).

  The booking form only suggests addresses compatible with the endpoint already chosen, and the price tester shows when a trip passes thanks to a secondary zone. Existing zones stay main: nothing changes unless you add roles.

  Elastic area: accept out-of-area trips when they pay

  Price Formula > Service area now has the Elastic area: a trip with both ends outside your zones is accepted when the empty run pays; if needed the price is raised automatically to the minimum.

  Service-area zones need not be an absolute limit. An out-of-area pickup can be worth it when the trip is long and the price covers the kilometres driven to collect the customer.

  In Price Formula > Service area you now find the Elastic area section. It applies only to trips your zones would refuse and requires at least one garage (the empty run is measured from there).

  • Max empty km / paid km: the ratio between the km to reach the customer and the paid km. Above this threshold the trip is refused at any price.
  • Minimum revenue per real km: the price divided by all km driven, empty ones included, must reach the minimum you set.
  • Automatic adjustment: when the revenue is just below the minimum, instead of refusing the trip the price is raised automatically to the minimum needed, within the maximum increase you choose.
  • Also: an absolute cap on empty km and a minimum of paid km, both optional.

  The price tester shows empty km, ratio, revenue per km and any raise. The customer only sees the final price. Everything is off unless you switch it on.

  At the same time the approach surcharge became more precise: among nearby garages the nearest by road is chosen, not as the crow flies, so the surcharge can only go down.

  Service area: new rule for trips that cross your area

  Price Formula > Service area has a third rule: a customer can book even when pickup and drop-off are both outside your area, as long as the route crosses it for the minimum km you set.

  Until now a trip with pickup and drop-off both outside your service area could not be booked, even when the road ran right through your territory. A Bologna operator, for example, received no requests for Venice > Florence.

  In Price Formula > Service area, the Rule menu now has a third option: At least one endpoint inside the area, or the route crosses it.

  • Trips starting or ending in your area stay bookable as before.
  • Trips that cross it are accepted too: the real road of the route is checked and the km that run inside your zones are counted.
  • In Min km inside the area you set the threshold (20 km by default): a trip that barely grazes the edge of a zone does not qualify.

  The rule works with radius zones. Allowed countries and max distance keep applying as always. The price tester tells you when a trip passes by transit and how many km run inside the area.

  Nothing changes unless you switch it on: your current rule stays as it is.

  Bookings: see whether emails were delivered

  Bookings now shows whether the confirmation email reached the customer: a dot next to the address in the list, and an Email section in the detail with every message, time, recipient and status.

  Until now the Bookings section could not tell you whether a booking's email had been delivered or not. Now it can.

  • In the list, a coloured dot appears next to the customer's email address: Delivered (green), Sending (amber) or Not delivered (red). It fills in on its own after the page opens, so the list is not any slower.
  • In the booking detail, the new Email section lists every message sent for that booking: the customer confirmation, your notification, resends. For each you see subject, recipient, date and time, and delivery status.
  • If you use Resend email, the section refreshes a few seconds later with the new send.

  The status comes from the service that delivers the sites' mail and is stored, so older bookings keep their history too.

  Booking passes: let a customer book at short notice

  New Booking Passes page under Bookings: a link that lifts your minimum advance notice for one customer for 24, 48 or 72 hours, so they can book online as usual.

  If your site requires a minimum number of days of notice (Booking setup, Rules), a customer who tries to book closer than that sees a message saying the booking cannot be taken online. The new Booking Passes page, under Bookings, is the exception for one customer.

  • Create a pass, choose how long the rule stays lifted (24, 48 or 72 hours) and optionally add the customer's name, phone and a private note.
  • Send the link by copying it or directly on WhatsApp with a ready message.
  • When the customer opens it, they land on your site with a notice that they can book now and until when. From that moment the rule is lifted for their browser and they book online as usual, with the same confirmation and emails.
  • The window starts when the link is opened, not when it is created. An unopened link stays valid for 30 days.

  The list shows for every pass when it was opened, until when it is valid and how many bookings were confirmed under it. A pass can be revoked at any time.

  Support: frequently asked questions and tickets

  New Support page in the account menu: answers to the most common questions and support tickets with the Tosiu team, with attachments and email notifications.

  In the account menu (top right) you now find the Support page, in two parts.

  • Frequently asked questions: answers to what we are asked most often (sign-in, invoices, domain, booking emails, payments, prices, drivers, export), with search and categories. Under each answer you can tell us whether it helped.
  • My tickets: open a ticket with subject, category, priority, message and attachments (images, PDF or video, viewable right inside the ticket). Each ticket has a number (T-000123) and a conversation with the team: you receive an email at every reply and status change, with a link to the ticket.

  You can close a ticket once the problem is solved and reopen it within 14 days. A counter next to Support in the menu shows replies you have not read yet. We usually reply within one business day.

  Work plan: the board you share with the Tosiu team

  New Work plan section: one board where you and the Tosiu team see the same tasks, with status, priority, due dates, notes, photos and videos.

  Work on your website used to live in scattered emails and messages. It now has a page: Work plan.

  • Board: tasks grouped by status (To do, In progress, To clarify, Done, Postponed, Idea), with priority, category, who is in charge and due date. Change the status from the row menu, in one click.
  • One window to create and edit: title, type, status, priority, due date on the left; notes and attachments on the right. The AI pen in the notes can polish, expand, shorten or translate the text: every proposal is shown for your approval before it is applied.
  • Photos and videos: drop files into a task or into the gallery, follow the upload, download or remove on hover. Anything attached to a task lands in the Board album automatically.
  • History on every task: who did what, and when.

  The Google Ads, SEO and Market Analysis sections are already in the menu and will open shortly.

  Custom tours: multi-stop proposals

  New Custom Tours section: build a multi-stop itinerary with waits and photos, share it as a private page or PDF. The customer accepts online and the booking is created.

  When a client asks for something that is not a simple transfer (pick me up here, stop there, wait an hour, then continue), you now have a dedicated tool.

  • Build the itinerary: stops in order, with times, waits, descriptions and photos.
  • Assisted pricing: on formula sites, one click prices the whole itinerary and suggests a figure per vehicle; the hourly rate values the waiting time. Your numbers always win.
  • Share in style: a private link on your own domain, WhatsApp with a ready message, or an email with the PDF attached. See when the proposal is opened.
  • Online acceptance: the customer confirms from the page and the proposal becomes a confirmed booking, visible in Reservations, Calendar and Dispatch.

  Online payments and payment links

  New /pay page on your site to collect an agreed amount, and a new Payment Links section to create links you can send on WhatsApp or by email.

  From today you can collect online payments even when there is no booking: a balance, a deposit, an extra service.

  • Payment page: your site has a new page at /pay. The customer enters the amount agreed with you, picks a payment method and pays online.
  • Payment links: in the new Payment Links section of the menu you create a link with a fixed amount and send it to the customer on WhatsApp or by email.

  Every payment appears in the list with amount, customer, method and status. When the customer pays, they get a receipt by email and you get a notification.

  The available methods are the online payments you enabled in Booking Setup.

  Service disruption on 13 August: what happened

  On 13 August a cooling failure at our provider’s datacenter caused slowdowns and temporary outages. Everything is back to normal; a rare event, and we apologise.

  On 13 August, the Phoenix (USA) datacenter of our infrastructure provider, Namecheap, suffered a cooling system failure caused by heavy overnight storms that repeatedly cut power to the facility. To protect the hardware from overheating, more than 5,000 servers were shut down as a precaution. The incident affected thousands of websites and services worldwide, not just Tosiu.

  Because of this, our services also experienced slowdowns and temporary interruptions during the day. The datacenter has restored cooling and all services are fully operational again.

  We apologize for the inconvenience and the problems this situation caused. This is an extremely rare event: it is the first disruption of this kind in the platform’s history.

  In the Price Formula the "City / provincial" per-km rate is now split into two fields: City and Provincial.

  In the Price Formula, Per-km rates by road type, the old single "City / provincial" rate is now split into two fields: City (city and local streets) and Provincial (provincial roads, SP). The road type of each segment is detected automatically from the real route, as always.

  Nothing to do on your side: the new provincial rate has been set equal to your city rate, so your prices stay exactly as they were. If you want to differentiate them, open Price Formula and set the value you prefer.

  Price detail for your customers

  New option in Booking Setup for Price Formula sites: show only the final price, the price with VAT split out, or the full breakdown with supplements.

  Sites using the Price Formula have a new option in Booking Setup, Prices tab: how much your customers see about how the price is built. The total never changes; only the detail shown in the booking summary, the confirmation, the email, the PDF ticket, the My booking page and quotes.

  • Standard. Only the final price, as it is now. It stays the default: if you touch nothing, nothing changes.
  • Price + VAT. The summary also shows the taxable amount and VAT as separate lines, using the rate set in Price Formula, Rifiniture, IVA %.
  • Full breakdown. On top of VAT, the transfer line opens into the base price plus one line per applied Dynamic Pricing rule (periods and holidays, day of week, short notice), per leg, alongside the night supplement.

  The detail is fixed on the booking at confirmation: editing your rules later never changes receipts already issued.

  New updates in the Price Formula

  Restricted traffic zones, fixed amounts alongside percentages, two models for the long-distance reduction, and per-vehicle values dedicated to the km bands.

  We updated the Price Formula and Dynamic Pricing. Here is what changes.

  • Restricted traffic zones. In Price Formula, inside Service area, you can now register streets and areas cars cannot reach (pedestrian zones, ZTL, seasonal or event closures), also limited to certain days, periods or hours. A zone can block booking at that address, or let it through with a note on the customer's confirmation. Each zone can carry an expiry date with a renewal reminder and a link to the official source, and shows in red on the service-area map.
  • Fixed amounts alongside percentages. In Dynamic Pricing every rule (short notice, periods and holidays, day of week) can now be a percentage or a fixed amount: pick with the selector next to the value. The same applies to each vehicle's adjustment in Vehicle prices.
  • Long-distance reduction: two models. New Model selector: Flat applies the same discount to every km beyond the threshold (e.g. 0.10 per km = 5.00 off at 300 km with a 250 km threshold), Progressive grows the discount with distance, as before. Existing setups stay on the progressive model.
  • Different values for the km bands. In Vehicle prices you can optionally enable a dedicated adjustment and minimum for trips priced from the band table: short band trips and long per-km trips can carry different markups. The switch from bands to per-km rates is now automatic too: it happens at the end of your last band, with no field to configure.

  Focus mode in the Price Formula: edit and test prices side by side

  The Price Formula page has a new Focus mode button: the page goes full screen, with the settings on the left and Test a quote always visible on the right. Every change can be tested right away, without scrolling to the bottom.

  Setting prices well is one of the most important things you do on the platform, and until now testing them was awkward: after every change you had to scroll to the bottom of the page to reach Test a quote, then scroll back up for the next tweak.

  What changes

  On the Price Formula page there is a new purple Focus mode button, at the top next to the guide. Press it and the page goes full screen: the formula settings (bands, per-km rates, surcharges, zones) scroll on the left, while Test a quote stays pinned on the right, always visible.

  Why it helps

  • change a value and test it right away, no scrolling
  • the test result, with the map and the price breakdown, stays in front of you while you tune the formula
  • recent tests are one click away to re-run the same route after every tweak

  To leave, press Exit at the top right, or the Esc key. The mode is built for desktop, where there is room for the two columns: on small screens the button does not appear and the page stays as it always was.

  Partner widgets: the booking form other websites can embed

  The Partner widgets tool is available: a configurable search form of the site that a hotel, agency or concierge can embed in their own page. Every search opens the site with the data pre-filled, and the booking is attributed to the partner who generated it.

  The Partner widgets tool is available. A widget is the site's search form, packaged as a box a hotel, agency or concierge embeds in their own page. It runs on the site's domain, so it always shows the real routes, rules and languages.

  Where it lives

  Under Account > Integrations there is a new Partner widgets card. Every widget has its own address and three delivery formats: a plain HTML iframe, an auto-resizing script, and a bare link for someone who can only paste a URL.

  How it works for the end customer

  The visitor fills the form on the partner's page and presses search: the real site opens with pickup, destination, date, passengers and any extra data already filled in, and the booking continues on the normal flow. The widget never takes a payment itself.

  What can be configured

  • texts (title, subtitle, button, notes), with per-language translations
  • which fields to show: round trip, passengers, children, luggage, flight number, vehicle choice, promo code, driver notes
  • a default pickup or destination, optionally locked: a locked side always uses the configured address, for example the hotel's own, and the lock holds on the server too
  • minimum notice, pre-filled date, default party size
  • looks: wide or vertical layout, light, dark or automatic theme, colors, background, width, logo
  • restrictions: which sites may embed it, which locations and routes it offers, a promo code applied automatically to the partner's guests
  • language and currency, UTM parameters, and optionally the partner's GA4 tag

  The editor saves automatically and the preview beside it is the real widget, so what is approved is what the partner receives.

  Attribution

  Every widget counts views and searches, and every booking born from it is stamped with the widget and, if linked, the partner from the address book. The tool's card shows views, searches, bookings and revenue per widget.

  Pause and revoke

  A paused or deleted widget shows, wherever it is embedded, a polite "form no longer active" notice: never a broken box in the partner's page. Past bookings keep their attribution.

  Public API: webhooks and a documentation page on your own domain

  The public API now sends signed notifications (webhooks) to your developer's software when something happens, and the full documentation lives on your own website at /connect/docs.

  Two additions to the public API, for operators with a developer or their own management software.

  Webhooks

  Instead of polling the API, your developer's software can subscribe an address to events: new booking, change, cancellation, payment, driver assignment, accepted quote, booked tour. The website sends the notification within a minute, signed, so the receiving system can verify it really came from your website. A failed delivery retries on its own; in Account > Integrations > Public API you see the subscriptions, the recent deliveries and a Redeliver button to re-send one immediately.

  Documentation on your own domain

  The complete developer documentation is at yourdomain/connect/docs, in the website's language, with request and response examples for every endpoint, the error codes and the signature-verification recipe. A machine-readable version lives at /connect/openapi.json. Just send that link to whoever builds the integration.

  Public API: read and write bookings from your own software

  The public API is available. Your developer or your management-software vendor can read bookings and the catalog, price quotes, and create, update or cancel bookings straight from their own software, with API keys you manage.

  The public API is available: programmatic access to the website, for operators with a developer or their own management software.

  Where to find it

  At the bottom of the sidebar, in Account > Integrations > Public API. That is where you create API keys: each key has a name, the permissions you choose, a requests-per-minute limit and a log of the requests it received. The full key is shown exactly once; a revoked key stops working immediately.

  What it can do

  • read the website's bookings and catalog (locations, routes, vehicle classes, extras, tours);
  • price a quote without creating anything, with the same pricing engine the website uses;
  • create a confirmed booking in a single call;
  • update or cancel an existing booking;
  • read and update the customer registry.

  How it works

  A booking created through the API is identical to one made on the website: same confirmation emails to the customer and to you, same customer-registry link, same pricing engine. The price is always computed by the system, never by the calling software. Every change made through the API appears in the booking's history with the key's name, so you always see who did what. Accidentally repeated requests do not create duplicates.

  The API is available on every plan. The starting address for the developer is shown on the keys page.

  NCCGEST integration: two-way sync with the management system

  The NCCGEST integration is available. Every booking confirmed on the site is created as a service in NCCGEST, with passenger, flight, vehicle, extras and price. Changes and cancellations stay aligned, and services already in NCCGEST can be read and imported.

  The NCCGEST integration is available. It connects the website to the management system so bookings move between the two without manual entry.

  Where to find it

  At the bottom of the sidebar, inside Account, there is a new item: Integrations, the page listing the external systems the site can connect to. NCCGEST is the first available one; the integrations in progress are listed below it.

  Connecting

  Two details from the NCCGEST account are required: the account name (the "dominio" that appears in the NCCGEST address) and a customer token. Alternatively, with the master token from the API settings the customer token is retrieved by the page itself, by entering the customer ID and VAT number of the record the services should be booked under.

  After saving, the connection test is run: sync activates only if the test passes. Tokens are stored encrypted and are not visible after saving.

  Website to NCCGEST

  With automatic sending active, every confirmed booking creates a service in NCCGEST within seconds, carrying:

  • passenger, phone and email
  • pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time
  • flight or train number and origin
  • vehicle, and the plate when the job is already assigned
  • extras mapped onto NCCGEST's fields: child seats by weight band, ski, snowboard, bags, luggage
  • price and payment state, if selected

  A round trip generates two services, one per leg, with the total split between them. Each service carries a cost centre such as "WEB 3420570259", which identifies website work inside NCCGEST.

  Edits, status changes and cancellations update the linked service. An automatic check every 10 minutes re-sends anything that did not go through on the first attempt.

  NCCGEST to website

  The sync also works in the other direction. With reading active, the page lists the services present in NCCGEST for the configured period, marking which ones originated from the site. Services created in NCCGEST can be imported as bookings, individually or automatically, and from that point appear in Reservations, Calendar, Dispatch, the service sheet and the P&L like any other job.

  Limits built into the integration

  No data is deleted, in either direction. Cancelling a booking cancels only the corresponding service created by the sync: services born in NCCGEST are read and never modified. Imported bookings are not sent back to NCCGEST, so no duplicates are generated. Each option is independent: sending without reading, reading without sending, or exchanging without the price.

  Pushes, reads and imports are recorded in an activity log on the same page.
